Wasserman Schultz Attributes All 2024 Crimes To Trump, Cites ‘Unmatched Destructive Energy Field’

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a bold new precedent for forensic analysis, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) appeared on CNN Tuesday to clarify that, while the gunman in last week’s National Guard shooting was technically the one holding the weapon, “Donald Trump’s metaphysical aura practically loaded the clip.”

“Sure, the suspect was on the scene, but you can’t underestimate the ripple effects of 2016-2020,” Wasserman Schultz explained. “If you squint hard enough, all these tragedies start to look a lot like Mar-a-Lago.”

The Florida congresswoman introduced her new legislative proposal, the Retrospective Accountability For Everything Unpleasant (RAFEU) Act, which would allow Congress to retroactively blame Trump for any incident dating back to 1776. “The Founding Fathers didn’t foresee Trump, but now we have the tools,” she declared, holding a stack of unsigned subpoenas and a Ouija board.

Political analyst Dr. Lester McClane expressed support for the approach. “It’s best to conserve investigative resources by blaming a single, omnipresent entity whenever possible. Think of the savings,” McClane said while painting a mural of Trump as a thundercloud.

Meanwhile, Biden was praised for his steadfast invisibility in the matter. “President Biden’s commitment to not being directly involved in anything is truly presidential,” said DNC spokesperson Riley Smoot. “That’s real leadership.”

At press time, Wasserman Schultz was seen at a D.C. crime scene attempting to trace a series of jaywalking incidents back to a 2018 Trump tweet about sidewalks.
