Malaysian Prison Constructs Luxury Wing to Accommodate Former PM Najib Razak’s Growing Sentence Collection

KUALA LUMPUR — Prison officials in Malaysia have announced the construction of an exclusive ‘Graft Suite’ wing after former Prime Minister Najib Razak received yet another 15-year sentence, bringing his grand total to ‘life, but with better amenities.’

Sources confirmed that Najib, previously sentenced to six years for his role in the mildly popular 1MDB multi-billion-dollar heist, seemed genuinely surprised when the judge asked if he wanted his new 15-year sentence “gift-wrapped or just added to the tab.”

“We had to convert the old gym into a storage room for all his official verdict documents,” said Chief Warden Rosli Mansor, who noted that Najib’s cell now features a wall-mounted digital counter to keep track of his accumulating penalties. “At this point, he’s competing with Malaysian Airlines’ lost luggage for most things unaccounted-for.”

According to Najib’s legal advisor, Mejar Arif Syah, the ex-premier remains upbeat. “He’s hoping to break the national record for longest consecutive sentencing,” Arif stated. “He’s already planning a memoir titled ‘From Parliament to Penthouse: A Politician’s Guide to Living Large in Lockup.’”

Prison neighbor and part-time cellmate Jamil Noor was less enthusiastic about the news. “He keeps offering financial advice,” Noor complained, “but I’m not sure offshore accounts are helpful when your only possession is a toothbrush.”

Officials say the new luxury wing will come equipped with velvet robes, a golden abacus, and exclusive screenings of ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’—including a cameo appearance by Najib during the end credits.
