ROME—In a twist almost as shocking as a Bond plot, legendary Bond girl Ursula Andress revealed Wednesday that she was ‘deliberately chosen’ as the victim in the daring theft of her $23 million fortune, because, in her own words, ‘I just have that kind of face.’

According to Italian authorities, Andress’s longtime financial advisor, Dr. Sergio “Goldfinger” Ferraro, spent years allegedly plotting a heist so brazen that not even MI6 would return her calls. Ferraro reportedly siphoned off millions in assets and artwork, allegedly telling the actress, “Don’t worry, Ms. Andress, it’s just for tax optimization—on my yacht in Monaco.”

“I picked Ursula because she was the easiest mark—she actually thought my name was Q. I wore glasses and everything,” Ferraro allegedly boasted to police, while trying to activate his umbrella laser.

Sources close to Andress say she never picked up on the signs. “In hindsight, the white cat, hidden trapdoors, and volcano lair office décor should’ve raised some red flags,” said her personal assistant, Valentina Giallo. “But he always wore a tuxedo, so I figured he was legit.”

Despite losing her fortune, Andress remains optimistic. “If Sean Connery can come out of retirement, so can my money. I expect it to resurface in a sequel hidden behind a fake bookshelf,” Andress told reporters, pausing only to check for secret listening devices under her chair.
