LONDON—In a bold move that industry insiders are calling both ‘ambitious’ and ‘moderately concerning,’ pop megastar Dua Lipa announced Monday that her new concert film, ‘Dua Lipa (Live From Mexico),’ will not only premiere on YouTube May 21, but also marks the first installment in her unprecedented quest to perform live in every sovereign nation on Earth before the decade is out, thereby securing what her management calls ‘indisputable global musical airspace.’

According to sources close to the singer, the concert was recorded over three sold-out nights in Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros, a venue chosen for its ability to accommodate both 60,000 fans and Lipa’s inflatable ego. The related live album, set to arrive on streaming services May 22, reportedly features ‘every song you’ve already heard, but in the specific humidity of Mexico City.’

‘We wanted to capture the magic of Dua inhaling 7,300 feet-above-sea-level air, which definitely elevates her vocals and not just her altitude sickness,’ said producer Robby “Synths” Chambers.
