LOS ANGELES — In a move legal experts are calling ‘either bold or just completely out of options,’ rising alt-pop star D4vd (real name David Anthony Burke) fired his high-priced legal team Monday in favor of what he describes as ‘the raw authenticity of public defenders and TikTok law hacks.’

Burke, facing charges in a disturbingly serious case, stunned the Los Angeles Superior Court by announcing, “I just feel like my truth will be better understood by people who haven’t worked for Johnny Depp. Plus, TikTok says you have an 80% chance if you just say ‘I do not consent to being detained.'”
