OKLAHOMA CITY—Setting a new standard for the phrase “candid camera,” local Emmy award-winning journalist Glenn Marsten was arrested Tuesday after police discovered his cutting-edge approach to investigative journalism allegedly involved installing covert cameras in TV station dressing rooms.

According to authorities, Marsten, 48, believed he was simply “pushing the boundaries of behind-the-scenes reporting” when he reportedly set up what he called a “multi-angle reality docuseries” starring his unsuspecting coworkers. “I was hoping for a Daytime Emmy for Best Unscripted Undressing,” Marsten reportedly told police, insisting he “just wanted to tell the real story behind wardrobe changes.”

Colleagues expressed shock and confusion, with anchor Lisa Donnelly saying, “I just thought the blinking red light in the corner was a new mood enhancer from HR. Honestly, it was the most attention management’s given us in years.”
