Experts Warn: $329 Vlogging Camera Actually Just Slightly More Expensive Reflection of $329 Vlogging Camera

In a bold move set to revolutionize the act of filming oneself explaining lunch choices, the new Xtra Muse portable camera—heralded as a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 lookalike—has dropped to the absolutely arbitrary price of $329, down from the former equally arbitrary price of $380.

Reviewers are already struggling to find a single distinguishable feature between the Muse and its inspiration. “After extensive testing, I discovered the Muse and Osmo Pocket 3 share every conceivable trait down to the smell of the packaging,” said self-identified vlogging expert Kip Marsh, adding, “I actually think my Muse might be a DJI with a sticker on it, but the deal was too good to care.”

DJI, meanwhile, continues to dodge questions surrounding its potentially suspicious proximity to the Muse’s design. “We categorically deny knowing what an Xtra Muse is,” said DJI spokesperson Candace Namewithheld, nervously rearranging identical-looking cameras behind her. “Any similarities are purely a result of the laws of physics and the shape of rectangles.”

Early adopters are enthusiastic, if slightly confused. “I saved $49 by buying the Muse instead of the Osmo! Now I can film my sandwich reviews in 4K and still have enough left over for two-and-a-half sandwiches,” boasted vlogger and self-proclaimed deal hunter, Bryce Vantastic.

With the March firmware update, the Muse now connects to Bluetooth mics—a feature described by Muse CEO Lyle Cloner as “an industry first, unless you count every other camera on the market.”
