FIFA Unveils New ‘Personal Organ Auction’ System for 2026 World Cup Tickets

In a bold step to streamline the World Cup ticketing process, FIFA announced Wednesday its revolutionary new platform, OrganiTicket™, which will allow fans to bid for seats at the 2026 tournament using major credit cards, cryptocurrency, or ‘any vital organ deemed marketable.’ The announcement follows mounting outrage after standard ticket prices soared to an average of $5,500 per group-stage game, with premium seating packages eclipsing the median mortgage payment on a three-bedroom home in Des Moines.

While FIFA insists its new auction-based system ‘democratizes access,’ critics remain unconvinced. “I only had to sell my hatchback to attend Qatar 2022,” said lifelong England supporter Colin Baffet, “but for the 2026 opener, I’m currently negotiating the partial removal of my pancreas. I just hope it’s enough for the nosebleeds.”

FIFA president Gianni Infantino defended the changes, stating, “We are pioneers in sporting inclusivity. Our algorithm ensures tickets go to the most dedicated—those willing to risk internal organ failure for the beautiful game.”

Some fans remain committed. “My neighbor gave up three toes to see Brazil vs. Portugal in New Jersey,” reported Toronto resident Stacy Ngo. “He says it’s worth it, though the stairs at MetLife are now a challenge.”

Meanwhile, FIFA’s official reseller, Ticketshark, announced a VIP package including lower-bowl seats, a commemorative kidney-shaped pillow, and priority in any future transplant line.
